So happy…
For the first time in eight years, I love hearing the words, “Mr. President.” I smile every time a newscaster says, President Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, First Daughters Sasha and Malia Obama — anything and everything Obama. I don’t have to change the channel to avoid seeing and hearing our President any more. Because, I admit it, I’ve changed the channel a lot in the last eight years. Just the sound of that man’s voice, the expression on his face, grated on my nerves. Now, I finally have a President who makes me smile, just to think about him. And his family. This is me, smiling, for the next four — hopefully eight — years:
I’ve also been doing the happy dance a lot lately, but I don’t think there’s an emoticon for dancing.
Speaking of dancing, could anything put a bigger smile on your face than to see PRESIDENT and FIRST LADY Obama dancing Tuesday night?
Oh, wait — that one makes me cry. But it’s a happy cry. ::sniff /
